Developed in 2018, the St. Croix Imperial USA Fly Rods are some of the best on the market today. We should also note that this line has different options available to you…in fact there are 24 different options in this line! There is a huge variance in length, line-weight, number of rod pieces, and rod weight depending on which option you pick – but there are some things that all of these rods do have in common.
The rod blanks are a blend/combination of SCIV graphite and SCII graphite which maximizes durability and functionality. They are going to have the Kigan Master Hand 3D stripper guides with aluminum-oxide rings and black frames, two coats of flex-coat finish to make the rods more durable but also shiny and eye-catching, a cork handle, and a high-end reel seat that will have a wood insert on most of the 2-6-pound line weight options and no wood insert on the 7-10-pound line weight options.
These high-end materials provide great durability, and because of that these rods are backed with a 15-year transferable warranty.
